Call us at (704) 443-7016 to schedule a tour and meet our staff. A Facilities Tour is a required part of your Summer Camp Registration. We'll also complete any remaining steps in your registration after the tour.
We use Procare for sign-in/out, communication regarding your participant, and billing. Creating a Procare account is one of the last steps in your registration, and should not be completed until after your tour.

Parents of new participants are strongly encouraged to attend Parent Orientation. Parent Orientation is optional for current After School [The Nexus] participants and returning Summer Camp participants.
Learn how to build and program robots using the Lego® Mindstorms® EV3 and WeDo Robotics systems! Campers will participate in creative, timed, and problem solving challenges; competitions, and other activities created to exercise logic and critical thinking skills
Learn a variety of building skills and techniques using real world engineering and architectural principles, and put what you learn to the test as you compete as a team in the Chopping Block, our weekly team building competition!
Compete as a team for glory in Laser Tag, Zombie Tag, Sword Battles, and our newest game, Wizards Chess; a fast-paced strategic game of swords and magic, with a chess twist!
Campers also get time for freestyle play and games.
All park activities are conducted at The Sportsplex Matthews and Squirrel Lake Park.
Learn to play, and compete with your team in the Pokemon Trading Game and many other tabletop (board) games!
Not only are tabletop games like the Pokemon TCG fun to play, but they're are also great for learning and enhancing skills like math, reading, comprehension, syntax, critical thinking, strategy and more; and in a competitive context, they promote teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship.
We take arts and crafts to the geek level! With projects that inspire imagination, creativity, and allow campers to express and impress themselves.

What would summer be without a few cannonballs! We visit a local pool with trained lifeguards each week!
Grade level based reading and educational activities like Prodigy, Khan Academy and math games, with drop-off starting at 7AM and Pick-up until 630PM.
We also don't charge any late pick-up fees as long as we're notified if you're running late.
